History & Vision
Vitalpulse was formed in 1997 by software developers Andy Webb and Rob Kings<photos biog?>formalising our on-going development and support work for renal computer systems. We set out to push the boundaries of what was achievable by the already aging information system. Since then we have enjoyed huge success with our Microsoft Office, laboratory, PAS, and machine interfaces, plus a wide range of technical services.
Uniquely, between us as directors we have 20 years’ experience respectively in clinical applications, specialising in renal medicine.
Now with a team of four full-time software development engineers, all of whom are specialists in the field of clinical computing, we have evolved into one of the most authoritative companies specialising in Renal IT in the UK.
We have remote access capability to virtually every renal Proton data system (approx. 37 renal units) supplying most of them with products and services over the last 10 years.
We currently hold support contracts for 18 sites and are now the leading developers of interfaces, analytical routines and enhancements for Proton systems.
Over the past four years our innovative development policy has produced a new application VitalData, that will safeguard the existing investment in renal data for the foreseeable future. |
